When he opened the door and stepped outside, there was nothing but silence and no wind; the kind neighbors soon reminded them to seek shelter from the sto.rm, and they knew their loving home would so.on be gone!
The couple dashed to their housemate’s room to assist the disabled man in entering the sto.rm shelter. Then Bruce looked for the couple’s four cats and two dogs. However, one of their cats, Ladybug, has gone mi.ssing, and their dog, Dasha, refused to leave the house. Bruce was compelled to depart without them.

The tor.nado struck, ripping off the ro.of of the Dunlaps’ house and scattering debris and furniture throughout the neighborhood. Dunlaps and a few friends were surveying the da.mage the next day when a fluffy face emerged from the rubble.
