17-year-old deaf, blind dog keeps missing toddler safe until help arrives

A dog is undoubtedly the most faithful companion anyone can have! These incredible creatures don’t hesitate to put their life on the line to save a human’s.

The courage and devotion they show goes above any imagination. And what this senior dog did for his younger human sister is all about that.

Max, a 17-year-old deaf and partially blind Blue Heeler mix from Queensland, Australia is hailed as a hero after he saved the life of a 3-year-old missing girl.

Aurora’s mom thought her little daughter was playing the backyard, but the woman took fright when realizing the 3-year-old is missing. The toddler wondered off into the bushland and her family feared for the worst. So they immediately put on a large party to search for her.

But it was a very hard mission. It was getting dark and Aurora’s family was even more restless as the little girl was wearing nothing but a thin T-shirt and some short pants went missing. However, little did they know the poor girl was not alone.

When spotting his little sister walking away from home, Max followed her. Over 15 hours had passed since the rescue team tirelessly searched for Aurora and their hopes started to fade, when the girl’s granny Leisa Bennet suddenly heard some dog barking coming from the mountain. So she ran into there and not far away she spotted Max who lead them to Aurora.

Despite being blind and deaf, the brave dog kept Aurora safe all this time! Thanks to his devotion, Aurora is alive and unharmed. More about this incredible story in the video below!
