Community Pitches In To Buy A Snow Machine So Dying Dog Can See It One Last Time

Dog

We all love our pets. They become part of the family from the moment that we bring them home. For as much as we do for them, they do so much more in terms of bringing us plenty of joy, as well as a sense of fulfillment to our lives.

There is nothing that we wouldn’t do for them throughout their lives. And when it comes to the end of their lives, many of us are more than willing to go above and beyond to make them as comfortable and as happy as possible.

When my dog got old and became sick, we did our best to make her last few months with us as comfortable and as pleasurable as possible. There were a few things that were on her “bucket list” that my mom and I ended up doing for her.

We took her to the beach for one final time, we bought her a very expensive steak, and we let her eat whatever she wanted. We even got our vet to come to do a house call to put her to sleep rather than taking her into the vet’s office.

For one owner, her dog Spunky had been a huge part of her life for many years. She had adopted him back while she was still in college. For years the pair lived in Wisconsin. It was there that sweet little Spunky had enjoyed many winters playing in the snow. Eventually, the pair ended up moving off to Texas.

When Spunky grew old and was suffering from cancer, his owner wanted to do something extra special for her beloved dog. She didn’t want Spunky to pass away without being able to see and enjoy the snow for a final time. Knowing that if she couldn’t bring Spunky to the snow, then she was going to bring the snow to Spunky.

And she wasn’t alone in making her wish come true for Spunky. Her entire community came together in order to help her get a snow machine in order to create a special moment for Spunky. She definitely made things special for Spunky, and we have no doubt that he was incredibly grateful to her.
