According to Globe News, Rhode animal authorities posted online close-up pictures of the woman’s encounter with a black bear at Station Varnum and issued information.
The woman locked herself in her car, the bear opened the door, and she tried to close it from the inside, according to police.
Animal services agents noted that ‘black bears may travel up to about 30 mph.’ Although a bear is a forest animal, it is nonetheless ‘awesome.’
