Here is a story about the smallest deer which are called pudu. They live in South America. They are only 12 to 16 inches.
Pudus like to eat grass, seed, vegetable and fruit. They are able to stand on their back legs and jump on trees. They are very active and know to escape when they are chased.
They live eight or ten years. They give birth during springtime. They have birth one or two fawns. They spend their life in the dense forests.
Pudus are very active. They are good at jumping and climbing. Pudus have the same size as domestic dogs.
There are northern Pudus living in Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. The southern Pudus are met in Chile and Argentina.
